Andrew Matotek (Co-Owner)

Andrew is originally from Philadelphia, PA but he has grown up in Beaver Falls, PA for most of his life. During college he learned the flooring trade first hand by helping his older brother start a now successful sanding and installation company, Skandia Floors, Inc. Before he graduated he met his future wife, Jacquelyn and they decided to stay near their family in Beaver County. After he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Edinboro University of PA, he married his wife and worked with another hardwood floor sanding and installation company until he partnered with Tyler. Andrew, his wife and three children currently reside in White Township.

Andrew's hobbies include reading, hanging out with his family, anything to do with learning a construction trade and recently, new endeavors into volunteer construction work.

Tyler Gerard (Co-Owner)

Tyler is originally from Madison, Ohio. He moved to New Brighton, PA to marry his wife Abby after attending Malone College in Canton, Ohio and graduating with a B.A. degree in Psychology. Tyler is currently attending seminary school at Cornerstone Bible School in Hopewell, PA. He and his wife had their first child September 1st of 2008. After moving to PA, Tyler worked in the hardwood flooring industry in the Pittsburgh area before meeting Andrew to form Haven Hardwoods, Inc. In his free time Tyler enjoys writing and playing music, fishing, hiking and woodworking.
